Our Care

At Ashgrove Care Home we offer 24-hour nursing and residential care provision for people over the age of 65. Upon enquiring about a place at Ashgrove, a pre-admission assessment will be completed for all potential residents, this enables us to start a person centred care plan on admission to the home. Residents remain at the heart of every care plan and we endeavour to tailor our care to your loved ones needs.

All rooms have disabled access with a lift available. We use manual stand aids and electronic hoists for any manual handling and resident safety and comfort is our top priority. We provide a safe and homely environment with round-the-clock care promoting a sense of calm and well-being.

Living in a care home is a life-altering adjustment and staff are here to provide reassurance and support. Our staff are fully trained and work hard to ensure that your loved ones feel happy and cared for enjoying a fulfilled life. Our staff will help your loved one settle in to their new home, and we encourage you to visit as often as you can.

We also offer respite care on a short or long-term basis. This can be for residents being discharged from hospitals, or entering Ashgrove from their own homes. Please contact us directly for more information. All staff at Ashgrove make every effort to make this your ‘forever home’. We have trained nurses on site and staff who are trained to provide palliative care and End of Life care. We will do our best to meet your care needs to ensure that you are receiving the best care possible at all times.
